    Interlibrary Loan Managed by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, the statewide interlibrary loan program embodies several grant programs that work together to enable library users access to materials not available at their local library. It also works with other programs in Texas, the Southwest, and the country to promote resource sharing and provide greater. Please return books – with the paper band intact – by the due date to avoid fines. Books returned to the lending libraries late seriously jeopardize our ability to request materials from that library in the future. If you would like to renew a book, you must renew via ILLiad up to 3 days prior to the due date. Please refer to complete.

    What Can Be Requested through Interlibrary Loan. Books, journal articles, reports, etc. required for your California State government job. Other libraries will generally loan material that they circulate to their own borrowers. Often excluded are: textbooks, reference books, course reserve books, rare books, recently-published books, microfilm.   Interlibrary loan is a free service for current UT students, faculty and staff. UT-affiliated users can request books, articles, chapters and more from other libraries. Interlibrary loan is intended to fill the need for items that UT Libraries may not own or if current resources have been lost. Request a loan of a physical item.

    Due dates for books and media items borrowed through Interlibrary Loan are set by the lending library, and are typically for weeks, with the possibility of one renewal for an additional 2 weeks.
